Jane LiddingtonJane qualified in 1991 and has specialised in employment law since that date. Having qualified at Howes Percival in Northampton, she went on to Eversheds (Birmingham) and the City firms of Nicholson, Graham and Jones and Hextalls LLP. She has considerable experience in drafting company documents including contracts and internal policies and procedures as well as service and severance agreements. Jane advises on the full range of employment issues including recruitment, unfair and wrongful dismissal, all forms of discrimination, industrial action, redundancies, restructuring and TUPE. She also has extensive advocacy experience in the employment tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Since 2003 Jane has been a part-time Employment Judge in the Employment Tribunal (London South region). Jane frequently presents seminars and training events for clients as well as writing articles on a range of employment issues. She is the author of Accessing and Disclosing Information in Tolley’s Handbook of Employment Law and co-author of the chapter on Data Protection in that Handbook. In her own time, Jane enjoys opera, playing the piano, reading, cinema and spending time with her family. She is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and German. |

Jamie LiddingtonJamie qualified in September 2007 having trained at Hextalls LLP in London. He regularly advises on a range of employment issues both contentious and non-contentious, from defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims to drafting contracts of employment, policies and staff handbooks. He has advised clients including freight transporters, recruitment agencies and international technology companies. He broadened his experience by serving as a case worker for the Free Representation Unit since July 2006 and has also been an advisor at Toynbee Hall Legal Advice Centre where he advised on the full range of employment issues on a pro bono basis. Jamie is the co-author of the chapter on Data Protection in Tolley's Employment Law Handbook. Jamie is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing rugby, basketball, cricket and golf. He also enjoys reading, films and travelling. |
